Bukit Bintang Resto

Hi Eaters.

Last Sunday was our nation's independence day. And also that day a friend of mine asked me if I want to go and hang out with her. Well we then searched for a nearby restaurant which we haven't visited before. And we've finally decided on a restaurant called Bukit Bintang Resto.

The reason was because of the big banner assembled on the front of the restaurant that showed pictures of the restaurant's menus.
It's maybe kind of hard to find this restaurant because of its secluded location. I myself had to use the GPS to find it. Luckily the restaurant's location is listed on the Google Maps.
The restaurant itself is pretty big. The interior was very nice, quite ethnical. There are a lot of ethnic statues, paintings, vases occupying spaces on the restaurant. The seating area was also very comfortable. Most of the seats were sofas. So this restaurant is a perfect place to leisure with friends or family. Here I give you some snapshots of the interior.

The Menu Book

It's pretty hard to tell what kind of restaurant Bukit Bintang Resto is. In the menu I found a variety of Indonesian, Chinese, and also Western food. So let's just say this restaurant offers international food.
The service here was excellent. The waiters were friendly. They let me asked questions and also let me took pictures when I said that I wanted to write a review about the restaurant. It also didn't take long for my order to showed up on my table (previous experience had me traumatized). So yes, I loved the impeccable service shown to me that night.

Creamy Chicken Corn Soup - IDR 20K.
As always, let's start this dining experience with an appetizer. My choice was the Creamy Chicken Corn Soup. So this soup was like something that I usually had on a family gathering dinner in a Chinese restaurant. But the soup here tasted way better for my palate. The soup texture was thick and creamy. It lived up to its name. Quite a lot of corn and diced chicken inside. The taste was so savory. Maybe it should use less pepper, since I tasted quite a strong punch of pepper in the soup. But overall it's quite tasty.

Claypot Sapo Tofu Mix - IDR 40K. 
I asked the waiters about the restaurant's recommended vegetable menu and they suggested that I ordered the Claypot Sapo Tofu. For this menu there are options of chicken, seafood or the mix of both. My order was the mix. It came in a huge portion with very generous fillings. There were chicken, prawn, squid, onions, carrots, green peas, japanese tofu, white mushrooms, chopped scallions, and enoki mushrooms. Yup, pretty much ingredients were inside this dish. The soup was also thick, and personally I liked it. It had a strong ginger flavor and aroma. It's really good and tasty also.

Chicken Cabe Garam - IDR 40K.
I love the crispy and savory batter on thr dish. It felt a bit spicy but in a good way. Really mixed well between the spiciness and the saltiness. A perfect cooked chicken too, the meat wasn't dry and still had that juicy texture. However, the chicken meat was almost tasted bland. It should have been seasoned or maybe marinated to make the dish more perfect.

Steam Rice - IDR 7K.
Steamed very well. The rice was fluffy and moist. And it was also very generous in portion too.

Iced Kacang De Light - IDR 20K.
I ordered this dessert simply because I was pretty curious with its name. So this dessert is shaved ice topped with red beans, jellies, sliced coconuts with milk and syrup. A very refreshing dessert. It has got a perfect and decent level of sweetness.

Ice Tea - IDR 10K. 
The Ice Tea was served with separated liquid sugar in a small cup. The ice tea here was good. The tea flavor was quite strong, even after I mixed the sugar in it. 

Overall conclusion, I found myself another great spot to eat. What's so great about this restaurant is its complete menus. Starting from a wide range of appetizers, main courses like rice, noodles, poultries, beefs, and seafoods. And also a very very wide choices of beverages. So may variants of coffees, juices, and softdrinks are available. Not to mention also their desserts.
Prices are decent, fair, and measured up to the foods. The ambience and the service beyond doubts are excellent. On the plus side, it's also far from traffic too, so it felt nice and quiet here.
So, if you're looking for a nice quiet restaurant with good food, why don't you try and come to Bukit Bintang Resto? Maybe we can meet up there and have a good meal together.
