Ramadhan Iftar Celebration at Cafe One, The Wyndham Casablanca Hotel

Hi Eaters,

We're entering the fasting month again, the holy month of Ramadhan. As you might experience throughout the years, in this particular month a lot of people gathered around together for breakfasting. Politics might be hot this month, but don't let it ruin your quest for a good place to have breakfasting.
So I was invited to another breakfasting event, this time at The Wyndham Casablanca Hotel. I've went there twice for their Halloween event, so I'm pretty curious about their Iftar event.

Monkey Tail Cafe, Pantai Indah Kapuk

A new cafe is in town and boy, I am loving this place. Last Sunday, me and the boys of @dailyfoodseeker went to this cafe called Monkey Tail Cafe which is located in the vicinity of Pantai Indah Kapuk. We tasted some of their brunch menus and we agreed that this cafe is worth to visit. Scroll down below to know why!

Sunday Brunch at Cassis Kitchen, Jakarta

I've come this place for several occasions, mainly food tasting invitation for a Sunday Brunch. I must say this place is quite convenient for some reasons, let's say for its location or its ambiance. Last Sunday I made another visit, this time to accompany a dear friend of mine which happens to be a blogger too. We came there to enjoy another spectacular Sunday Brunch by Cassis Kitchen.

Penang Bistro, Kebon Sirih, Menteng

Hi Eaters

I've come to know Penang Bistro from my girl. Apparently it was her favorite restaurant when it comes about Peranakan cuisines. She could brag all day about how she loved the Penang Char Kway Teow, Singapore Crispy Sotong (this is her all time fave!), and the Ayam Goreng Terasi. It seems to be mandatory now if we visit Grand Indonesia, Kota Kasablanka or Central Park, that she will demand we eat at Penang Bistro. So when the other day I got an invitation with a plus one from Rinku for a gathering at Penang Bistro, she was more than thrilled to join!

Pitstop Culinary Heaven, Mangga Besar

Hi Eaters.

Mangga Besar is quite a busy culinary area with lots of restaurants and street food vendors lining up in the side of the busy street. Mostly the food you can find here are commonly chinese food. It is well known to be a perfect place to get some delicious chinese cuisines. Nevertheless if you dig up more to even the smallest section of the road, you might find some surprises along the way, like one that I found yesterday, Pitstop Culinary Heaven.

[EVENT] Ramadan Iftar at La Moda, Plaza Indonesia

Ramadan is just weeks away. Time sure flies so fast, and we are about to enter the fasting month again. In this kind of the month surely you can find restaurants trying to put out their special dishes to welcome the fasting event. If you're looking for a place to plan your upcoming breakfasting, I have one recommendation for you, La Moda.

OKU, Hotel Indonesia Kempinski 1st Anniversary

Hi Eaters.

Whoa! It's been a year already! Days seem to pass by so quickly then suddenly it has already been a year since Oku opened its doors to public. I remember coming here when they just started service for maybe a couple of days. You can check out my post about that one here.
I clearly remembered how amazing the food was and certainly this time it was certainly an honour just to be back and invited for their first anniversary.

Kopineto, Karet Pedurenan

Hi Eaters.

This is one coffee shop I've been putting under radar since I've seen the "BREWING SOON" sign placed on the front window.
Karet Pedurenan is my Monday through Friday routine and certainly I think it will be nice to have a decent coffee shop available for a coffeeholic like me.
So there it is now, welcome the newly-opened Kopineto.

The New Face of Asia Restaurant, Ritz-Carlton Mega Kuningan Jakarta

It's a new fresh look of Asia Restaurant at Ritz-Carlton Mega Kuningan Jakarta. If you've never seen its previous look, well lucky you, just check it out here.

It's always great to come back to a restaurant that has impeccable service and also good food. This is my second time to come to Asia Restaurant and certainly a rapid change had occured. Curious enough? Keep on scrolling!

U-Thai Cafe & Resto, The Foundry 8, SCBD

Thai food is always my favorite. Well, honestly, I don't eat Thai food that often or as much as I have been recently, but the resembling taste and the richness of the herbs and spices with Indonesian food certainly have become that factor that puts this certain cuisine on my favorite list.
Another FoodyID invitation brought me to try this Thai restaurant called U-Thai Cafe & Resto, located at The Foundry 8, SCBD. This is a food district I never visited before. There's always a first time for everything, right?

Sunday Brunch at Attarine Jakarta

Lately I've been attending quite a lot of Sunday brunches. Not to say that I don't like it, well actually I've been waiting for it. Sunday brunches at restaurants mean that special menus are up for grasp. Now who wouldn't love that?
About a couple of weeks ago I had the chance to tried the Sunday Brunch at Attarine Jakarta. I've been hearing a lot about this particular restaurant, and when it finally came the time to have a visit, I couldn't be more patient!

ROCK PAPR SCSR, The East Mega Kuningan

Inspired by the Japanese zero sum hand game, please welcome the new comer in Jakarta's culinary world, ROCK PAPR SCSR. Yes, it's a unique name although they didn't spell it completely, but litterally just shortened each word to a 4 letters syllable.

Loewy, Oakwood Premier Cozmo

Back on a tight Sunday in which I had 3 foodtasting invitations along with my @dailyfoodseeker friends. Fortunately all 3 places were located in the area of Mega Kuningan and only in walking distance so it felt great not to hustle from one place to another and simply have more time to enjoy the food and have chit chats.
And our first stop that day was Loewy, which is located at Oakwood Premier Cozmo.

[HOTEL REVIEW] Restaurants at Resinda Hotel Karawang

Continuing my previous post about Resinda Hotel Karawang, in this post I am going to talk about the hotel's restaurants. Of course in any staycation it won't be complete without having to try the food at the hotel's restaurants. I always think that food is something that completes the whole package. And so for this staycation in particular, I got to try 3 restaurants located at Resinda Hotel Karawang. They are Tenkai Japanese Restaurant, The Oryza Restaurant, and Hai Wang Chinese Delight.

Jia, Shangri-La Hotel Jakarta

Give a warm welcome to Jia, the newest addition for the fascinating eateries at Shangri-La Hotel Jakarta. After months of preparations, Jia finally opened its door for customers at the 28th of December 2016. Substituting for the now-closed Shang Palace and serving contemporary Chinese cuisines, Jia certainly packed some big guns to compete with other big names in this category.

TableShare, Lippo Mall Puri @ St.Moritz

The area around Puri, West Jakarta isn't exactly the kind of area I frequently go to. To be honest, it's a bit far and the roads could be confusing sometimes. But over the last couple of weeks I seemed to be visiting this area quite a lot. Either it is for a birthday invitation or just a quick meetup with some old friends. It's actually confusing why they have to choose this area, but some said just to avoid traffic.
And just about last week I went back here again, to Lippo Mall Puri @ St.Moritz, to attend an event held by HandsInFrame at TableShare.

[EVENT] TeSaTe Restaurant and Sababay Wine Pairing

A glimpse of what made a dining experience to be so luxurious is that if it involves wine to the whole occasion. Simply said, wine is common served along in any European or Western fine dining establishment. But what happens if the fine refreshment meet with local palate?
As I quench this thirst of excitement through my experience through wine pairing, the local fine dining restaurant, TeSaTe Restaurant had teamed up with the local winery, Sababay, to answer my curiosity.
